Presented is a fantastic English Georgian sterling silver fish slice or fish server. This piece dates to 1805 and was made by William Ely. The server is done in a classic Fiddle pattern, with shoulders above the blade. The blade is pierced with an attractive design. The handle has a finely engraved crest of an armored hand holding three flowers.This piece is hallmarked on the handle with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter K for 1805, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for William Ely. This piece is in great condition. The hallmarks are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. This piece is about 12 1/4 inches long.
