Presented is an antique, English sterling silver platter, stuffing or serving spoon made by John Spackman II of London in 1778. This late 18th century, Georgian piece has a beaded edge along the front of the handle as well as a finely, hand engraved wolf crest.

The back is marked with the crowned leopard's head for the city of London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter c for the year 1778 and a maker's mark for John Spackman II. This piece is in great overall condition for its age. There is minor surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
