English Georgian Neoclassical sterling silver decanter stand, 1818. Raised square base with gadrooned rim. Corner shells between oak leaves and acorns on leaf- and scroll-mounted paw supports.
Four bottle and 4 stopper rings on imbricated leaf supports with ionic capital. Scrolled leaf-wrapped finial with scallop shell on same support mounted to central ornamented cone. Fully marked including London assay stamp and worn maker's stamp.
Dimensions: H 14 3/4 x W 10 x 10 in. Weight: 52.5 troy ounces. With: Set of 4 antique cut-glass bottles. Sides straight with diaper bands and internal faceting. Shoulder faceted and neck round and short. Ball stopper with same band and patera on top.Stoppers do not fit in stopper rings. Dimensions: 10 x D 3 3/4 in.
